Program Details
First Year Program
Intake Dates: January, May, September and November
Program Length: 8 months
Program Schedule Options:
- Weekends (One weekend per month)
- Daytime (Mondays from 9:30am – 2:00pm)
Students learn the basics of relaxation massage and a variety of Swedish Massage techniques. Students are introduced to anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and hydrotherapy. After the fourth module, students practice on real clients in our student clinics.
Second Year Program
Prerequisites: First Year Program or Direct Entry (see below)
Intake Dates: April, September
Program Length: 10 months
Availability: Weekends (one weekend per month)
Students learn deep tissue massage, fascial release, facilitated exercises, history taking, orthopaedic assessments and treatment of pathologies of the entire muscular-skeletal system. Students practice in PCMT’s Student Clinic throughout the program. Graduates become Registered Massage Therapists upon joining an association.

Direct Entry:
Missing Hours: Registered Massage Therapists are required to have 2200 hours of education to practice in Saskatchewan. If you are missing the required hours, PCMT can help you obtain 2200 hours without interfering with your established business. Direct entry to second year is available in April and September each year to students who qualify. Contact us to learn more!
